This year was an exciting one! The Canadian Students Society hosted a series of events including a Harry Potter Walking Tour, our Great Canadian Quiz Night, termly hockey nights and movie nights, a pub crawl and our annual Trinity 'Term BBQ.

FEBRUARY 5TH, 2017
HOCKEY NIGHT AT GREEN TEMPLETON COLLEGE
It’s tough to keep up with Canada’s official (winter) national sport while across the pond, but at least once a term we get together, and get our fix of the good old hockey game. We watch these games LIVE so be ready to be up late to cheer on your favourite team! Keep your eyes out for when we announce the event and get ready to break out that beauty of a jersey!

THE 2ND ANNUAL CANADIAN QUIZ
The 2nd Annual Canadian Quiz Night was hosted at Green Templeton College! The night included Canadian tunes, Caesars made by our own Lauren Karrys, and the winners were treated to some wonderful prizes!
MARCH 8TH, 2017
PUB CRAWL
The night started out way above the “dreaming spires” at the Varsity Club on High St. Stops included the King’s Arms, Royal Oak, and the Duke of Cambridge. Everyone enjoyed the chance to relax and enjoy a pint (or two, or three). To top off the night, not single person was lost along the trail!

Pizza Party at the new Pizza Pilgrims on the upper floor of Westgate to celebrate all that is swell and and meet a bunch of friendly Canadians!

RAPTORS BASKETBALL
Are you missing out on the Canadian sports scene? Well look no further than the Hayloft at GTC! We'll be live streaming the Raptors vs Celtics game and will provide snacks. This event is BYOB!

CANADA DAY OUT
Our Canada Day Out in London! In this event we visited the Canada Gallery, the National Gallery, and the British Film Institute - which had a wonderful film event on Expo67!

OXFORD WALKING TOUR AND PUB NIGHT
It's Friday the 13th! Join us for a historical walk around Oxford and learn about gruesome murders and the ghosts this town has to offer!

Potluck Event - bring some of that amazing Canadian home-cooking. Turkey provided, everything else needed!

CANADIAN HOLIDAY EXTRAVAGANZA
Come celebrate holiday cheer with your favourite Canadian guys and gals! The party begins at 8:00 on Thursday, 30 November at Rewley Abbey Court. Christmas sweaters &/or festive apparel are strongly encouraged! This event will also be potluck style (appetizers, snacks, and sweets) and BYOB. We ho ho hope to see you all there:)
